Italy's Fiscal Reform 2024: Setting the Stage for Change

Cassino Hosts a Pivotal Conference on Tax Law Overhauls and Their Implications
Tomorrow in Cassino, a critical discussion on Italy's Fiscal Reform 2024 will unfold, fostering dialogue on the Biennial Preventive Tax Settlement, the new informed and effective Tax Debate, Mandatory Self-Protection, and upcoming changes in the Tax Litigation process.

Organized by the Order of Chartered Accountants of Cassino in collaboration with the National Foundation of Accountants, the event is set to take place from 14:00 to 19:00 at the historic Palagio Badiale in Piazza Corte.

Under the guidance of Mauro Cernesi, President of the Cassino Order of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts, the conference will feature a lineup of esteemed speakers.

Notably, Lucio Aschettino, President of the Cassino Court, and Enzo Salera, Mayor of Cassino and a Legal Auditor, will offer their insights, alongside national representatives like Cristina Marrone of the National Council of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts.

The session promises a comprehensive exploration from the Preventive Settlement to the new dynamics of Tax Litigation, with stops along the way for discussions on Tax Debate and Mandatory Self-Protection.

Cernesi and Giuseppe Tedesco, the event's moderator and Vice President of the National Foundation of Accountant Research, emphasize the conference's ambition to elevate the stature of Cassino's Order on a national scale.

Tedesco notes, "By gathering experts who have directly contributed to tax reform discussions at the Ministry of Economy and Finance, we aim to enhance both visibility and prestige."

Scheduled to speak are Adolfo Coletta, President of the Tax Justice Court of Frosinone, and Salvatore Regalbuto, Treasurer of the National Council with a focus on Taxation.

Rosa D'Angiolella, National Council Advisor on Tax Litigation, alongside Pasquale Saggese and Fabio Aiello of the National Foundation for Accountant Research and Education respectively, will round out the discussion, providing diverse perspectives on these pivotal reforms.

As Italy stands at a fiscal crossroads, the outcomes of this pivotal gathering may shape the nation's approach to taxation, offering lessons and models for broader European contexts.
